As 2025 comes to a close, we are proud to reflect on what has been a defining year for Network Planning Solutions (NPS). From global partnerships and groundbreaking fibre deployments to a growing presence across the Middle East and Europe, this year has marked our biggest leap forward yet.
Across every project, event and collaboration, one theme has driven us. Accelerating the future of connectivity through next-generation fibre infrastructure especially Hollow Core Fibre (HCF).
Here’s a look back at the standout moments that shaped our year.
Scaling Hollow Core Fibre Globally with Relativity Networks
In 2025, we became the first official Trusted Installation Partner for Relativity Networks, the leading innovator in next-generation Hollow Core Fibre cable design.
This partnership included:
✔️Joint development work involving hundreds of HCF splices
✔️Advanced rotational alignment and cleave-inspection techniques
✔️A streamlined commercial deployment model for global customers
✔️Demonstrating real-world viability of Relativity’s patented HCF technology
Daniel Preston, CEO of NPS, commented:
“By working together, we can meet the most demanding needs of digital infrastructure customers and deliver the benefits of Hollow Core Fibre at scale.”
Strengthening UK Infrastructure with CTG
We were also excited to invest in Complete Technology Group (CTG), specialists in digital infrastructure for Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs).
This investment strengthens long-term collaboration between CTG and NPS, helping both organisations scale to meet the UK’s rising demand for safe, compliant fibre infrastructure in complex residential environments.
CTG CEO Andy Wells put it perfectly:
“Together, we’re driving safe digital inclusion for every community.”
Bringing Hollow Core Fibre to the GCC
Partnership with Infonas
Another milestone came with our partnership with Infonas, a leading carrier-neutral infrastructure provider headquartered in Bahrain.
Together, we are introducing Hollow Core Fibre to the Middle East, offering:
✔️ Up to 30% lower latency
✔️Improved security and future readiness for quantum technologies
✔️ Enhanced data centre interconnect performance
✔️ High reliability for hyperscale, financial and AI workloads
Joe Dickenson, Co-Founder of NPS, shared:
“Combining NPS deployment expertise with Infonas’s regional reach allows us to deliver next-generation connectivity across the GCC.”
A Year of Industry Events & Thought Leadership
2025 was also a breakthrough year for NPS on the global stage.
Connected Britain, London
Our stand drew record attention, particularly for our live Hollow Core Fibre splicing demonstrations, showing the technology’s readiness for real deployment today.
Capacity Europe, London
NPS joined the panel “The Hollow Core Fibre Opportunity: Faster, Further & Deployable Now” alongside operators and industry leaders, reinforcing HCF as a commercially viable technology delivering real results today.
GITEX Global, Dubai
Our Co-Founders met with the UAE Government’s Department of AI and Digital Infrastructure to discuss how Hollow Core Fibre can underpin the region’s ambitions in AI, cloud scale and digital transformation.
The momentum around HCF is undeniable and growing globally.
Data Centre World, Paris
NPS team members Steve and Simon took our live HCF splicing demo on the road and once again garnered great attention and interest. We joined our partners at Prysmian and Relativity, The conversations, connections and curiosity around HCF technology were fantastic and really confirmed what we already knew about the future of the industry.
Touchdown Middle East, Bahrain
Co-Founder Danny and CCO Steve had a busy and productive week at Touchdown Middle East 2025, taking part in conversations and sessions focused on the future of digital infrastructure across the region.
During the event, Daniel joined the panel “Supplying the Surge: Enabling Growth in GCC Data Infrastructure,” sharing practical views on the technologies and approaches helping the region scale its networks, including the increasing use of Hollow Core Fibre.
On Day 2, Steven took the stage to discuss “The Hollow Core Fibre Opportunity: Further, Faster & Deployable Now,” highlighting where HCF is already making a difference for operators and enterprises.
A standout moment from the week was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Annemarie van Zadelhoff from Qareeb Data Centres, marking the start of a partnership focused on improving edge connectivity and performance across the GCC.

Strategic Partnership with Qareeb Data Centres
This year, NPS signed a major Memorandum of Understanding with Qareeb Data Centres, the Middle East’s first sovereign edge data centre operator. This partnership brings together Qareeb’s expanding footprint of 36+ AI-ready sites with our advanced fibre technologies, including Hollow Core Fibre.
Together, we are:
✔️Aligning technology strategies to deliver next-generation connectivity solutions
✔️Integrating HCF into Qareeb’s edge sites for ultra-low latency performance
✔️Enhancing regional interconnection routes
✔️Supporting enterprises, cloud providers and government entities with high-performance digital infrastructure
Danny Preston, Founder & CEO of NPS, summed it up well:
“Our experience in Hollow Core Fibre aligns strongly with Qareeb’s vision for low-latency, scalable digital infrastructure.”
Looking Ahead
2025 has been a year defined by progress, partnerships and bold steps into new territories.
We:
✔️ Expanded deep into the GCC
✔️ Advanced global deployment of Hollow Core Fibre
✔️ Formed ecosystem partnerships with Qareeb, Infonas, Relativity Networks and CTG
✔️ Showcased innovation at Europe’s & the Middle East’s biggest digital infrastructure events.
✔️ Continued leading the industry in next-generation fibre technology
But most importantly, none of this would have been possible without the commitment, talent and hard work of the entire NPS team.
As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to continue shaping the future of fibre connectivity, enabling faster networks, smarter digital infrastructure and lower-latency performance across the world.
The future of fibre is here and NPS is proud to be at the forefront of it.
